Footage has emerged of the moment the Asiana Flight 214 crash landed at San Fransisco International Airport on Saturday. Today it has been revealed that one of the pilots was a trainee with just 43 hours of experience and also that the plane was travelling significantly slower when approaching the runway than it should have been. 2 young passengers were killed when the planes tail hit the sea wall sending the plane flipping and spinning along the runway.
It was also being investigated today whether one of the victims was actually killed from being run over by an emergency vehicle.
It was stated that the two victims from this accident were the first from any Boeing 777 crash.
It just shows that even today, with all the technological advances in flight safety, these crashes can still occur.
